NEW THIS YEAR! In order to make the room reservation process more fair, we are using a Room Lottery for REAF 2026.
Ticketing opens on THURS, Jan 8. Room Lottery tickets will be available THURS - SAT, Jan 8-10 for $10 (one per order). Lottery winners will be randomly chosen and emailed their reservation link on SUN Jan 11. Reservations must be made by WED, Jan 14.
General Room Info: Rooms at the Holiday Inn Auburn during REAF have a 2-night minimum stay (FRI-SAT). You may also arrive THURS at the REAF rate. Reservations are NON-transferable. If you cancel, your room will be offered to the Waiting List.
1) ORDER A ROOM LOTTERY TICKET. Ticket sales open on THURS JAN 8 at 10 am. You may order one Room Lottery ticket per order ($10 each) by SAT JAN 10 at 12 midnight. When asked, fill in up to 3 preferred room types, in order of preference and separated by commas (e.g. QQ-B, KE, QQ). You MUST order your pass(es) when you order a Room Lottery ticket. However, you do not need a hotel room to attend this event!

2) MAKE A RESERVATION. Room Lottery Winners will receive an email on SUN, JAN 11 with an assigned room type and a REAF booking link. Rooms MUST BE RESERVED through the booking link by WED, JAN 14 at 12 midnight or your room will go to someone else! Be sure to reserve the room type that you were assigned.

3) OVERFLOW: Non-Winners will receive info and booking links on SUN, JAN 11 for the REAF room blocks at Hilton Garden Inn and Inn at the Finger Lakes. Overflow rooms are first come - first served for lottery participants. The overflow hotel links will be posted to all attendees on THURS, JAN 15.
4) WAITING LIST: Non-Winners will be added to the HIA Waiting List. They will receive an email at least one week prior to REAF with booking links for available HIA rooms. All Waiting List rooms are first come - first served.
All rooms have frig and microwave. $164/night plus tax. 2-night minimum.
Rooms must be ordered through the REAF lottery system THURS 1/8 - SAT 1/10. Booking links will be sent on SUN 1/11 and reservations must be made by WED 1/14.
This is a complete hotel take-over event. No one will be admitted to the hotel without purchasing a pass for REAF. You do NOT have to have a hotel room to attend this event.
7-Day Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your room reservation at no charge by April 3. Late cancellations will not be charged if we can fill the room. If you do not cancel your reservation and you do not check in by 8 pm on Friday, you will be charged for a one night stay and your room will be made available.
