Tentacle Chair: "The Kraken"

Tentacle ChairWe are delighted to welcome Skin Freaks and their amazing Tentacle Chair to REAF! Bring your camera... you'll definitely want to take advantage of this photo op!

See Kraken Photo Contest

Skin Freaks is the Frankenstein monster that crawled out of the collaborative minds of two untamed artists. Morgue Anne, trained in fashion, graphics, and make-up met Jerry Accomando, a master sculptor for over 20 years, and started experimenting with their common interests of monster making and special effects.  While delving deeper into this mad science, they discovered the fascinating world of silicone, urethane, and resin, and realized there were near limitless possibilities of what they could create! They started by designing a line of unique silicone jewelry and lingerie accessories, which won them intrigue with the kinksters looking for latex alternatives.

"When we were asked to build a bondage tentacle device, I don't think anyone knew exactly what kind of demi-god we were releasing into the world. Affectionately called The Kraken, we are delighted to have made so many fantasies come true! We definitely foresee tentacle accessories in the near future!"

Nipple Casting: Collaborative Art Project

Presenter: Scott Grove

Nipple CastingCast your nipple in bronze for a collaborative art piece! The mold is quick and easy to make, and can be done in private, if you wish. Once the mold is ready, Scott Grove will make a casting that is an exact duplicate of your nipple!

We are looking for 200 nipples to be made into a piece of art and then auctioned off to a seriously lucky buyer.

Body Casting in Plaster

Presenter: Dennis Lemons

LifecastA live demonstration of the Lifecasting process. The mold making process requires the model to hold a pose for 30 minutes. The mold is formed directly on the body, by applying a material called alginate to the skin. This material is made primarily of algae and is similar to what an exclusive salon would use for a facial. This gives us forensic level detail. Soft cotton is pressed into the alginate to allow several layers of cheese cloth and plaster to attach to the alginate. This hardens to form a hard shell, similar to a cast you would have on a broken foot.

The casting can be poured with many different materials, such as resins, plasters and fiberglass. It can also be poured with wax and then cast into bronze by a foundry. I primarily use Forton MG which is a cement/polymer mix. Fiberglass is added for strength to form a light weight strong casting.
